Guurrbi Tours : Nugul-warra Rock Art

Visitors to Cooktown now have the opportunity to visit the Nugal-warra site in the company of Nugal-warra Elder, Wilfred (Willie) Gordon, and to hear the myths, legends and family history depicted in the art. Previously inaccessible to visitors, the sites are situated high in the hills above Hope Vale Aboriginal Community. Here, on his Traditional lands, Willie explains why these sites are of such importance to future generations of Nugal-warra people.
